A few years ago I spent some time sloshing water around in an open oil pan and really began to appreciate the difficulty in keeping the oil in the sump.

Oil pan baffles
Has anyone found any good oil pan baffle layouts? Brian Kitley sells a dolly pan but I'm not sure that would fit my wedge since Rimmers shows different oil pan part numbers for dolomites and TR7s. Looking at the oil pickup height from the pan bottom, it seems like it wouldn't take alot of oil slosh ...

Pulling through was really the kind of failure I was worried about. Since I had the longer stem TT valves it kind of forced me to stick with the alloy caps. Funny thing was that I still needed to use extra thick shims even though the TT catalog said using the longer valves would allow the use of the ...
