Resto show, gotta earn us 'sole' first place would that. Shame the 3 day NEC show is not 'Restoration Based', we could do a roof skin day 1, vinyl day 2, and a folding fabric day 3 <!--EZCODE ...

Re: .No Go

Check your leads and cap. When I first got XAA running, drove down to Beale Park TDCIR, all was fine. Started up and drove into the 'Arena Field' all fine. Hour or so later, XAA fired momenarily and then died. No way would it restart. I tried points, condenser, coil, spark plugs, checked float bowls ...

Great Day

Really enjoyed today chaps. When we were handed the award the presenter said "Dolly Club, always put on an excellent display".
The crowd gathered as predicted when the glue wafted across the hall. You should have seen the look on peoples faces as they stopped to ask questions and I said ...

Doubt it, Exhibitors tickets normally expire at 09:30 or 10:00. I've not got the tickets, Jeff has.
The Bee Pee

I'm struggling a tad here chaps, can't place the BP Garage. Map looks as though it shows the A45 and the 'suicide' roundabout by the Airport with the A46 leading up to the M69.
I can't for the life of me place the BP Garage. I have vague recall of a garage near to the Island on the left as ...

Re: dwell

IIRC to increase the dwell you close the points. Its one of those things that I have to refresh myself on. But as points wear, the gap closes, the dwell increases and the ignition timing retards.

Re: Rear brakes: What a joke

Sprints are actually overbraked on the rear, hence the load concious valve that reduces the efficiency when the car is 1 up.

Stuff 4 people in and the load valve increases the efficieny of the rear brakes. The rear brakes are 'too big' hence the need to restrict them down. Many have cut ...

To cure pinking you would need to go cooler. club has some orginal GSP381 BN7Y equivalents and the correct spec as detailed in the handbook.
