I was hoping that being an unpopular 1850 auto would mean it went cheap and I could reshell my Sprint into it, but it looks a bit too good for that and it's gone way out of my range already.<br>

Not much room for larger valves, but the F3 heads had slightly larger ones. Whispers: I've got one in my garage if you want to come round and measure it.<br>

More to it than that Dollyboy. There are loads the same size, but they have different guts. You can get one with a non-return valve (not needed on a Sprint) one with a magnet in it, blah blah. At that point my wallet took over and I got the cheapest branded one.<br>
