You will need to adjust the mixture on the carbs at least, if not re-jet. Probably won't make a huge difference on a standard exhaust tho'!

re; cooler
Kev; Not sure yet on whether 3/8" or 1/2" would be better for flow rates of oil. To much restriction will artificially raise the oil pressure whilst actually starving the bottom end. Need to check. <br>

re; coolers
I've been toying with the idea for a while, and whilst I think it makes sense, others may think it's "slob-lock".(anogram). tr7 box
I do indeed have that box on a sprint motor! Standard tr7 friction plate between sprint pressure plate and flywheel. TR7 backplate behind flywheel - the clutch slave mounting is different ( or did I just mod the old one?) As for mountings on chassis and shaft all I can say is it will all be wrong ...

Ar but it hasn't got the 15" x 7" alloys bumpin' tunes or other tasty bits! Is nothing sacred anymore? If he's done all the oily bits it's a good price too as it's a lot of hard work to make that bloody lot fit!<!--EZCODE EMOTICON START : --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/ohwell ...

Re: Re-chroming??
theres a firm in hinckley called nuneaton fine finishing! They do a lot of polishing for me. They quoted me about £80 for a spitfire bumper. Could be worth a look!
