my boaty back end
how hard is it to change the bushes and do they cost a lot and dont worry the most the car is driven is about 300 yards and it runs on three cylinders and has no back box so i wont be doing no motorway driving just yet.

my back end feels a bit "boaty"
had the car outside my house today to do some welding (lots of) and when i was driving it back to its garage i came off the verge and the back end seemed to float to the left and right im not too sure what this is im used to driving a mini so the back end on the dolly is a bit alien to me.

brake squeel
i thought the thing to stop brake squeel(i dont think i spelt it right) was to put copper slip all over the back of the pad thus stopping it vibrating which causes the squeel whilst braking?

unlike your engines i have no oil at all coming up to the rockers even with the screw taken out of the shaft i have completely cleaned the head the pedastals the rocker shafts and the rockers with little drill bits boy did that take a while as i said in my first post i could just about blow through ...

there is no oil whatsoever coming up out of the rockers and the feed holes are on the bottom of the rocker pipe (is that right) and they dont seem to line up with the rockers. The car is nearly ready for the mot all bar this problem i dont think i can drive the misses mini for much longer before i ...

pulled the whole pump out drive ok and pump pick up was no where near the bottom so still im stumped but i did see written on the oil filter 21/1/01 - 29431 the actual mileage is 30842 so i guess thats about 1400 miles in 5 years maybe the filter needs changing...............?

oil not getting to my rockers?????
i took off the sump today and checked the pump it all seemed ok the gauze was clear and the clearances were ok i took the rocker bar off and blew through it and it was clear all the rokers were clear too i attached a pipe to the hole that goes from the head to the block and blew i heard bubbles at ...
