After measuring the shims on the sprint head and calculating the new sizes needed I'm now stuck as to where to buy new shims, Rimmers does up to 0.130 in and I need a few averaging 0.170 in, does anyone know where to get thicker shims.

When I got the head skimmed the engineer told me to make sure that I added the correct type of anti freeze as some would cause more corrosion than others, so which one do I buy.

Some more advice please, I've just put the head back on my Sprint after a skim and rebuild and would like to know the correct antifreeze and quantities needed. cheers gordon<br>

Hi guys, I'm just looking for some info on a pair of solex carbs with K&N filters attached on a manifold, they were in the boot of my Sprint(ULG 62R) when I bought it last year, were they any good? why were they fitted? and how do I post a pic of the car? cheers
