Another on e-bay
This time it's a white one. Again, photos could be better. I see where there is no vinyl top...no biggie
Re: Another on e-bay
That it doesn't have a vinyl roof is a bit of a concern. Given the lack of it, combined with the wrong steering wheel (there should be slots cut in the spokes, and it looks like that wheel has the plastic inserts from the lower models)

Also it looks like there's some pretty bad corrosion on the driver's side (left as you look at it from the front) A-post. You might want to give this one a miss, IMO.

Re: Yellow Sprint met Reserve
I'm inclined to agree it might be worth a punt. Even if the whole car falls apart when you breath on it the LSD alone is worth £500. Sadly I'm nowhere near that end of the country. And my car is in pieces.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D">
I'll point out I bought my car sight unseen from ebay. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D">

But your car is in pieces <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /smile.gif ALT=":)">
Still haven't heard any word on the chassis ID though. Seems a shame to let it go, but with those pics...someone should really look
Some of the steering wheels had the filler pieces in the steering wheel some didn`t, they do simpley just pop out if you don`t like them.

Red (Carmine) one on e-bay
Sure it sounds like it needs some welding work...not against that, but it sure would be nice if someone was close to take a look??
Re: Red (Carmine) one on e-bay
I would say ground clearance is probably an issue with that one. It's a good 2 inches lower than standard, which will cause some big problems on bumpy roads. My car is 1" lowered and that is plenty. The low profile tyres aren't helping either. Getting that sorted is about £75/$130 a corner (£50 for the tyre, £25 for the spring) As for the welding, all the big panels needed are available from the TDC. (you'll need to make a sill end cap) I've has similar welding done on my car recently, and I'd say the 20hrs estimate was about what it was on my car.

On the plus side, rear seat belts are a big bonus, and not all that easy to find these days. The new vinyl roof is good as well. All the interior and trim looks in OK condition (shame about the speakers in the doors, though)
Re: Red (Carmine) one on e-bay
You could do alot worse than this car. I know the cra and the owner very well. It was bought on ebay a year ago for £500 with no MOT. Since then it has had lots of work done to it.

I'm sure the non standard front spoiler can be returned to a standard one along with the seats.

He also has a tahiti blue sprint that needs quite a bit more work doing for £150.

You could do a deal and ship both. You could use the tahiti one for parts or restoration.
When you know the owner...Are you referring to the Carmine car or the yellow car that you linked to?
