Toledo Rear Arches

#1 Post by alan bond » Mon Jul 10, 2006 9:44 pm

Does anyone know where I can obtain rear arch repair panels for a Toledo. I was given a repair panel with the car but later found out it was for a dolomite. The arches on th car are not too bad with slight bubbling. Any direction greatly received.
I have a pair of Toledo rear quarter panels unfortunatley they are eventually going to make there way on to the 1300 fwd, you can however borrow them should you wish to get a panel fabricated. Sorry I can`t help more. From memory the dolly repair panel is the same from the point it meets the sill to where the wheel arch starts.

I have a pair of 2-door Toledo rear quarters which don't seem to be any use to anyone these days. It's a massive panel but if no-one wants it to restore a 2-dr car you can take the N/S one off my hands to butcher(the other side is part of my 1300 accident repair stash). Ring me on club line 08700 111737 (Mark)
This is always going to be a problem. The Dolomite ones are still available (Sprints are worth restoring you see... ) but the Toledo/1300 are not.
Afraid it's a case of looking out for NOS rear wings or good 2nd hand ones or fabricating it.
Alun - any chance of looking into this??
