still got car troubles

#1 Post by kirstycat20 » Tue Aug 08, 2006 3:32 pm

hi!

ive been away for a while and now im back - only im not back in leicester anymore. Ive had to move in with my parents (who unfortunately think she's not worth the hassle and that I should sell her - something I dont want to but might have to consider) in Wednesbury, West Midlands.) The only thing is now my beloved Dolly is still in my friends garage in Leics and I can't transport her till shes passed her MOT.

Im still trying to find the parts I need to get her repaired but not having much luck. N it doesn't help that because Ive left it for a while Ive kinda forgotton what I was told was wrong and can only remember that I need a 'steering column bottom bush.'

Anyway I was wondering if anyone can enlighten me as to what one of those parts is again please, and where I could find one?

thanks!

If its the one that goes on the bulkhead then they are available through the club.

Does this help?

You are just down the road now from Susie (dollybird72) ;your new best mate!

Her other half (me) has a car transporter and her mate Jod has the part you need. Jod lives in Gt Barr, also just down the road (the big one with 3 lanes each way) another new Mate

If we can collectively persuade Jod to fit my new towbar we can all go to Leicester ...

Welcome to the Midlands!

PS: none of us have bad local accents either

Aha, a damsel in distress, my speciality!

I feel a sudden urge to fit a towbar to Al's Alfa, oh yes.
Let's get cracking!
