Feel the noise

#1 Post by Carsreunited » Thu May 25, 2006 5:31 pm

Don't know if this will come out because it was playing fairly quietly on my pc with the volume turned up. But anyway, cameraphone quality sample of my new side exit exhaust sound. Took it to custom chrome in Nuneaton for them to construct something from the bottom of the front pipe to the side. I'm pleased with the result. Pops and bangs on the over-run a bit like the TVR does!
Edit. Can't get the damn sound level up. If I email it to you Lewis, can you work some magic on it?
That's exactly where mine exits Al. I'll get some better quality pics tomorrow.

Have a look at the motorsport brands thread for more info on how it drives.

Db's I'm not too sure. More than 99 which was what it was before. I'll ask for a noise test at Brands. The amazing thing is that it sounds pretty standard at idle. The camera-phone video was only up to 4k revs. Over that she's a real banshee!

Should sound awesome at full chat. Shame they don't have many long tunnels on race tracks...
