Hi Al

No not my garage i'm afraid ...If it was I would be renting out storage space for Dollies! .
Yes it was a Volvo V90, 98 R and only 68k - gutted! Fortunately James was't hurtand there was no passengers.
He lost the backend in the wet at the NEC roundabout.
I have to say, Yoof + 3.0 litres = bad idea. He was only using while the Mini was in for MOT. (Thank God he wasn't in that!) Just think, he wanted a Dolly... The Volvo stuck like glue at the back compared to a Dolly!!

Cheers

Pleased no one was hurt but pride. No doubt he'll lift off sooner on the next wet one...

You mean he no longer wants a Dolomite???

Thats got to of been a scary crash! Glad no ones hurt.

Thing is with a Dolly it would of spun at half the speed that Volvo let go so chances are he would of spun out many a time before in safety.
I had a 1984 Chevey C10 pick up truck in the States. 5 litre V8! It was in very nice condition.

Very fast, but completly rubbish in the snow being rear wheel drive only. Maine winters in New England are really snowy!

Despite my suspected head gasket leak, my Dolomite is poised to take my favorite car position.
like the 928 vastly underrated a real good piece of german engineering quite a good buy for people as they get older peeps get a bit afraid to buy one
as for my favourite i havent bought it yet <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/grin.gif ALT=" >D">
but the alfasud tii (rusty sold it at 20.000 mls) must rank as a good one due to it's superb handling
