(when driving the vectra i just carry on going in the hope people will stop) but today both cars coming from opposite directions stopped to wave me out.

Quote:
...the headlines about BLiar

I'm assuming you are talking about the "when should he resign guff". Well, in my opinion, wether you voted for him or not, like him or not, the majority of voters in the last general election voted for people that they knew would enable Tony to become PM. They didn't vote for Gordon Brown, Fatty Prescott or anyone else. They either voted for their MP because he has done great things in his constituency, or they voted for the Smiling Assassin.

Now, If I had voted for someone, I would want that guy to be PM. Not his best mate/bumchum/whatever. Let Tony B.Liar finish his term, when parliament dissolves for the next general election, he says "ta v. much, i'm finished, Golden Brown is now leader of the Labour Party, if you want to elect him PM, vote for your Labour candidates".

The whole "Will he/wont he/when will he" stuff is getting on my wick. I really think some of these eejits in Westminster think they are part of some bastard offspring of Big Brother and the Jeremy Kyle show.

Then again, this sort of thing probably appeals to his electorate. Ooops, bit political there, as Ben Elton would say.

I don't even read the Daily Mail as well. Listening to the news on Radio 2 is enough to get me angry. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/mad.gif ALT=">:">

All this in a WCMUT thread. Well, hell, shoot me.

Finding petrol at 89.9p per litre, brimming the tank and rally-driving my poor little 1300 to Leicestershire and back with no regard for fuel economy. The return journey at 1:30am was brilliant. 3 hours sleep last night belongs under the other thread tho....
INcidentally, why has it gone down? There are still wars going on which is the normal reason for justifying the high prices?
Aha...who mentioned the Daily Mail?

I only mentioned I saw the headline...at the petrol station...where fuel was indeed 89.9p...but I still spent £70 on the stuff!!

Hear what you say...but its become personal for me.

I despise that bloke's persona so intently I want to see him fall. I want his party to get rid of him. I don't want to see him succeed this third full term. I don't want to hear that he is the longest serving PM.

Equally I don't want buffoon brown or corrupt fat boy taking over by default...

Try the DM, but only on Saturday Rich, they do often have a good essay and amusing comment by the likes of Simon Heffer. That often cheers me up in a morose sort of way
