HAW180N

This was restored by someone called Ed Bishop. He's down southhampton way, and done the car for his then girlfriend for the sum of £600 including the price of the car. What he dont know about sprints isn't worth knowing. His engineering skills are second to none and does it all on a shoestring. Theres a picture of the engine bay of his race car in the clubs gallery, he's also mad on purple, his team is called 'purple power'. His car is featured in triumph world around the end of 2000 with a tr4 he also restored.

Went to see the ebay car today with Susie,

Firstly its not HAW180N, its another car with identical rwa... GTE236N!

Genuine Magenta but needs work; engine and box are out, subframe off, suspension off the frame. Engine has head off, head is partly disassembled. Inner and outer cills are shot as are the doors, roof bubbling along the seams. Rear arches...less said the better...<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ferent.gif ALT=":|"> . Nice bloke selling though and genuine reasons for sale

Rear arches are available as a panel for £20 a side though, aren't they?

two magenta sprints with RWA? that's a bit spooky. Maybe BL were trying something with them?

I don't think BL used FG and if they did even they wouldn't have done it so badly!

Bloke on ebay does them for £20 plus £8 postage each. Friends up north they are more like £35 each plus. I think you'd need more than the standard panel to put this back to rights
