At least insurance is cheaper in Aus - i'm 22 and my Sprint's insured for AU$7,500 and i pay AU$700.

Mind you the first quote i got was $2000 for market value of $5000...

My girlfriend loves my red sprint - so i guess i'll just have to restore it for her <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... tongue.gif ALT=":b"> (mind you she is still keen on a convertible - that's odd <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/eyes.gif ALT=":rolleyes"> )
Just curious as it was said that i could get a good sprint for between £1500-£2000. What would i expect to go wrong with it or how much rust would it have. also what is the going rate for a sprint with average mileage and no rust, generally speaking.

Cheers

Nice ones with provenance...1500 quid...

Lulu's....2500

The Best in the World...5 grand

Then there is Steve's at 5.5k...go for it if you have the money.

You can get them for less but only if you are prepared to do some serious work or are lucky or you name is Alun or Jon
Ah-ha, there's the Joy, expect nothing, it will always surprise you!

Except of course a steering rack required every two or three MOT's

Ah, a Sprint with no rust. They all do that sir, standard equipment.

There was a Sprint (Yellow / Black Vinyl Roof) at (now closed) Wilmington Classic Cars on the A27 just outside Eastbourne a few years ago for £6995. Luckily, no blind people heard about it so it stayed a while (2 years) for those of us in the know to admire the lovely rippled paint-over-P38 finish and stunningly vague panel gaps.

However, they were a Marcos dealer too, so there was always something to drool over as well. Particularly the Foreman P4 Ferrari replica.
