Of course I knew it wasn't personal! <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... lasses.gif ALT="8)">

I heard - although I'm not sure if it's true although it's totally possible - originally the K series blocks were going to be made of plastic.

Wonder what it'd have been like then <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/roll.gif ALT=":rollin">

Nick from Jigsaw has got a 1.8 K series in a Metro and its obscenely quick. An engine needing work can be picked up for £250 as most people want to steer well clear of them. Don't know enough about them to comment really.

Lewis is a mate of mine...well a board mate anyway.
I give him enuff respect eslewhere...<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/roll.gif ALT=":rollin">
He should know it wasnt personal...

I'm afraid the K series deserves it....

If you put a 1.8 CVH in a metro it would be the same...and an almost equally undesirable engine too.
Would it be easier to maintain them in a front engined environment?
