SprintV8

After much investigation, the axle is a shortened TR8 unit... I have a receipt for it being rebuilt with an LSD, but if it's still in the axle it certainly isn't limiting the slip properly!

The brakes are... err... standard discs with green stuff pads. Now, I thought that they'd be flagrantly not up to the job, but I gave them a good spanking on the track and there was no fade, and the bite was surprising...

Still, I've just bought a pair of twin-choke IDA downdraught webbers on a modified 4.6 injection manifold (pic to follow on my website) - once those are bolted on, it's not going anywhere until I've upgraded the brakes! (Any suggestions as to what to go for?)

Sadly this means a bonnet bulge will be required <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/eyes.gif ALT=":rolleyes"> but what can you do... Have found a suitably not-too-boy-racer one... There's a photo of it on this website - it's the red one - KA110 - what do you guys think?

Looking forward to summer cruising... <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/roll.gif ALT=":rollin">
Whatever happened to that Green V8...?
Re: Enfield pageant...
If you really need to suck air from on top and want to cut a hole in the bonnet I'd go for a shaker scoop...
Like on this Yank Tank. It's attached to the engine and not the hood so it shakes when you rev it. Nice.
