...at the moment, once you take out the listing fees if you'd taken the grand when I offered it you'd have been a fw quid better off.

Bought one since then, otherwise I would have given it a tickle for you.

I'm amazed. I wanted to bid £1200 on the basis that if someone steals it for that I want it to be me. Unfortunately funds only allowed the bid I made. If I'd thought £1200 was in any way realistic I'd have tried harder to find it.

Lewis, you've let yourself be mugged. That for the price of 5 years tax? (think it's gonna stay at the current level that long? I don't).
I think it's a very fair price for what it is.....I would have been happier with more but it'll do, at least someone else has it to work on now...

I know where to come if I want to second chance it though!
Still no contact...........gave him till 6:30 to get in touch. Is it really that much hassle to just send a text, give a call or drop an email saying "yes, I am buying it".

Don't mind waiting for it to be collected, only on the premise that I know it's been bought!

I must admit I find it odd that he has not made contact.

When I bid, I bid to buy because I want it. I make contact as soon as the auction ends.

Ya. At least if he'd said (as soon as the auction ended) "Thanks, will contact soon".

Instead, I'm just sitting here twiddling my thumbs. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/mad.gif ALT=">:">

If I could weld the plate on the wheel arch I think I would....actually if I could weld period.

I could borrow a mirror glass from another one and adjusting the handbrake would be easy enough. Got a spare 1850 diff for it now as well so its all there.

If it doesn't go this time, I think I might.

I'm seriously thinking about using a dolly as a daily drive and fixing the 1850 up would be very easy. My modern winds me up sometimes.

Do it David, for very little work you will have an interesing daily drive.

I don't for a minute regret selling my modern and running a dolly as a daily driver.
