Arrgghhhh! Stop press guys. Went to BSM this evening to look at doing my driving instructor training. All ok and I will be starting this in a few months time. However, as you have a car supplied with the job SWMBO has decreed that I must get rid of one car. 1300 Dolly - just too sweet for words so she will stay. XR4i - yummy V6 will also stay. Big White Dolly will be going

The good news is that I got her running . It wasn't the float chamber after all, it was just a couple of fuel pipes - one that I hadn't tightened properly (just above the float chamber) and one on the front carb that I'd missed. Starts well, idle is a little high but it drives backwards and forwards without any hassle. Anyone fancy an 1850HL with O/D, white (of course) with black (very tidy) interior and 64K on the clock? This car has to have one of the most rust free rear screen vent sections I've seen. First dibs to Dolly Club members then fleabay I suppose.

If you are interested drop me a line via the ez message thingy.
She's a R plater, '76 I think. Probably in the region of £265 I suppose/maybe? I need some dosh to derustify the XR4i

The interior is lovely and the rear roof bit is brilliant. The front wings are a bit tatty but totally do-able.
What if it some how got relayed on to the TDCIR somewhere and someone for a small cut tried to flog it for me? It's got to be worth £100 surely? Would accept less.

No MOT there at all sadly but shouldn't take too much for the new owner to get hold of one.

I will have a few bits there anyway Adam, if you can get it there I will do my best for you, but can't promise. It will obviously sell better if its nice and clean and shiny...
