Heads

#16 Post by Silvery » Mon Nov 21, 2005 8:18 pm

My last head gasket was about 50p - Got half a dozen off Ebay for a couple of quid ages ago <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :) --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /smile.gif ALT=":)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> <br>
<br>
And it's an easy job, just a bit heavy to lift off. I often leave the manifolds and water pump assembly on, which makes it much much heavier, but less work undoing and redoing things. However, the last one I did was a nightmare as one of the studs had a load of carbon deposits glueing it to the head, took hours to free it off <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :( --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /frown.gif ALT=":("><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END-->
