All sorted now, but the new one (which I put on with the gearbox) has the bleed at the top. It works perfectly well now, but the haynes manual says it should be at the bottom for the sprint. Does anyone know why?

so the clutch cant be bled unless you take it to a BL dealer...as the last air bubble is trapped above the nipple. Actually it can be forced out if you push the slave piston all the way in...or clamp the piston somehow and bleed it rock solid....as george will tell you..<br>
