Yes, a lot of things on the TS model must have been carried through - the black grill and the headrests on the seats didn't appear until '76.
Those black hubcaps also appeared on the Morris Ital !

How about this?
It would be an ideal project for a TS replica. Steve W still has the ex-Jod 1500 lump that was in this car previously and a pair of front wings. I can use the ex-Jod single rail box that was put in Snowdrop until I fitted a new clutch. Just need a proshaft and axle to complete the drivetrain, vinyl on the roof, a pair of carbs, a black grille, the wheel covers, TS badges and hey presto, a TS replica! A TS could've been had in Carmine paint with Chestnut trim.

1973 1500fwd (Baby Blue slowly being recommissioned)
1971 1500fwd (spares car for Baby Blue & future donor for the "Stretch 1500" project)
1983 Acclaim HL (Becky, my daily driver)
1977 Dolomite 1300 (Snowdrop, just failed the MoT - AAARRGGHHHH!!!!!)

Only snag is that my Toledo is in Halifax in West Yorkshire minus a rear axle...

And to knock up a TS style dashboard - a flat one with extra dials - cannot remember how many extra and what they were though.
