he doesn't break cars does he. He buys sheds and puts them back on the road doesn't he?

He's bought cars that I've bid on, or chased up from local rags, just re-sells the Sprints seemingly.

He seems a good sort, if he broke it I'm sure there was a very good reason!

Congratulations Andy on getting a half decent price for it.

Alun, if you are serious about this (which I suspect you are), I've heard that a certain Spa car could be up for sale. Obvious problem is that its a left hooker. I reckon it could be had for similar money although it hasn't got the 48's....

Mine cost 5 times the final amount to build so I would say that it is a bargain.
Was a sad day today, after 17 years I am now totally without Sprint !!

I'm gonna miss it I must say.

Had to make myself feel better so took the TVR out for a damn good pasting. Frightened the shiit out of many a New Forrest tourist with some pretty serious sideways roundabout antics.

It did the job !! Pastures new and all that.

Now to fluff up my pile of £20's and get some shut eye
Do you know what he's going to do with the Sprint?.

1980 Dolomite SprintV8 (Soon to be shoehorned with a 360bhp of TVR AJP V8 Pumping Alloy !)
2002 Citroen Xsara 2.0 HDi Estate.... Part's delivery Vehicle.
My cerbera is going through one of those 'difficult' periods at the moment. I've managed to bodge the Ignition Control Unit back together and now I'm trying to bodge a repair on a leak somewhere with the heater matrix.

Did the winner voice his intentions with regard to what he is going to do with the car? Just wondering if it will make an appearance in PHTC or Top hat.
A new day

I must admit I am unsure of exactly the intentions.

Noises made for getting FIA papers, and also Rallying ?!?

I hope it stays in the Pre 74 as that's what is has been built for. But it's entirely up to him now.

It's going away for some fettling with someone in the know for awhile, so don't expect anything soon.

Have you taken the Cerbie out on the track at all. My Griff went to Snetterton last year and found a woeful lack of front brake after 5 minutes. Suffice to say brakes have had a major upgrade now

Cheers
There should be the word 'edit' underneath the time and date you made the post.

Nice brakes. Grooved discs are definitely on my shopping list once mine are dead. What pads do you run?
"But there only Vented Sierra Disc's?."

So they might be....but at least they are now 285mm Cossie 500 discs, not the feeble 240mm XR4i's

What you running on your Sprint then ?

Would like full blown AP's but we're not all rolling in it

Scott - Pads are Wilwoods own Polymatrix E fast road race pads. Work well from cold, work very well when warm although they do sqeak a bit a low speed. So not something i encounter very often then <img src=
