at tenner each...
Repair kits on the bay at usually sub 10 quid and the NOS joints usually make 30 quid these days. So still a bargain.
Scott offered me this over drive a few months back, "Had it a few years dont know any thing about it" Yer sure I'll have it, get all the parts together, basically another gear box with over drive mounted to it already and spend some time fitting it to my car. I balls'd up and I didn't get it off Scott when I had planned. So I ended up getting it off him a month or so after, at the CARS show.

CARS show was 1st of July wasn't it? Got back from that show with great help from Scott and was stuck with a car that was in need of another engine. Things got in the way and I only got round to sorting my car out 2 weeks ago.

So it's been on the road 2 weeks and it comes off the road in 15 days and I go to Oxford Brookes Uni in 5 weeks, got confirmation letter today, woooo hoooo! Of course I'd like to keep all these parts I have at the moment but plans change and the car has to take a back seat.

I don't know how long it'll be off the road for but plans have deffinatly changed. I would not of listed the O/D if I'd of thought I was misleading Scott atall.
Once you give something away you relinquish control of it.

When you are given something by someone it is entirely up to you what you do with it.

Irrespective of any desire to mislead the giver, if you then have no need of, or need to get shot of, said item then courtesy would make the giver the first port of call, especially if you chose to get rid of said item in public domain. With explanation of circumstance to the giver 9 times out of 10 the response would probably be 'whatever' but at least you will have provided them with the choice of having it back. I guess you have to have been on the receiving end at some point to fully understand...<img src=
