Camber

Forgive this no doubt obvious question (for you racing types) but does increasing negative camber at the front wheels have any effect on the dolly's tendancy to understeer?<br>

Neg Camber.

With more negative camber you will find that the car will turn in a little quicker and give better grip in corners but I wouldn`t like to say it would give less understeer as that`s more down to the poor weight distribution, you only need to look under the bonnet to see why they understeer. (engine placed well over the line of the front axle) <br>
For a road car I reckon the standard set up is fine. If you start dialling in neg camber you`ll chomp through tyres in no time, obviuosly if it`s a track car this isn`t an issue so much. If you want less understeer use more right foot and plenty of opposite lock.
