Sprint block

Got offered a brian kettley/keetley? refurbed block with 2 new pistons/rings (+20 thou) inc sump/ filters/ oil pump etc.Been oiled n stored but never used since refit.<br>
turns freely, looks nice etc... whats it worth? <br>

+20 rebuild from rimmer's is £212. Figure the market value is about half that, and you are still quids in.

I would snap it up! I could do with a bargain like that. Although the whole car I beat Alun to a couple of years back only cost a ton and the engine was pretty good with lightened bottom end. As for convincing the other half, we use our Dolomites every day and I do all the work on them so she can't tell if it's service parts or something special. Although with both cars running at the moment, she might wonder why there are pistons and a crank on the garage floor at the moment!<br>

I have to make do with the kitchen table...<br>
after spending a night removing the bevels from all my clocks,cleaning glass and the like,I came home to find my smiths 12v timepiece floating in the dogs waterbowl!<br>
(no jokes bout her being a watchdog)<br>

Double garage with enough length to get an engine crane in and out the front of the car with a workbench at the end too. Previously, we had a single garage with no lighting, but I was able to take stuff to work and work on it there. I still did some engine assembly on the dining table, with help from my 3 year old (at the time) son. All that space doesn't help with the lack of time that work and children cause.<br>

never did collect this!!!!<br>
logistics a bit unhealthy for me (and missus put mockers on it)<br>

may still have it...had other sprint bits fawn interior carbs<br>
etc<br>
worth getting just to put on ebay if your near gatwick..<br>
