Waste disposal

I have two engines in my shed that I need rid of, ones a TR7 engine of relativley unknown condition and the other is the 1850 out of my green 79, it`s knackered, how best do I dispose of these, the dump won`t take them and I couldn`t get them there anyway and scrap yards aren`t interested unless it`s a whole car. Of course they are available to TDC members FOC if they want to collect, the TR7 did come out of a running car about 2 year ago. I just have no use for it and it`s taking up space.

On the Surrey, Hants borders. Ash to be precise, it`s next door to Aldershot.

throw them away.
The 1850 block can be turned into a Sprint std bore...and hence worth money.
If you are desperate I'll have the TR7 one...suppose its carb less...?
It doesn`t have any carbs i`m afraid. Lewis is custodian of those. If someone wants to take them away they can have them, the 1850 lump has low compression on cyl 2, apart from that it was ok when I took it out.

Rebore the 1850 block to two litre and turn in it to a TR7 motor, then put it in to an 1850 <img src=
