Public apology

Firstly, for those club members and none club members alike, who read my posts recently I would like to apologise for venting my spleen in a public domain.
Secondly and more importantly to Jonner's, firstly I would like to say sorry for loosing my rag.
I will try and justify my reasons, which actually are rather crass as I read them back to myself.
I have always felt as if we are trying to score points off one another, as our debates have been more and more prevocative, that's not what I am about.

My main concern was, whilst being relatively new to the world of Dolomiting, you have been questioning (probably rightly!) my prowess as an engineer.
Pride at this point takes over as all engineer's would agree.
I have a pretty warped sense of humour as my job dictates, which can be read by many folk outside my profession very wrong.
And so my percieved view of you has been read wrong also, probably because I am 'institionalised' and not used to addressing a different sense of humour.
I suspect a face to face chat, being able to read your face the issue I have raised would not of happened, but I am new to this media of communication.

So please except my apologies and I will try my damndest to think before I post.

Al Williams.
