Hope he pulls through.....i think he one of the best presenters top gear has had in a long time!! <br>
280mph?.......thats one hell of a speed though!!!<br>

Hope he pulls through. He's been taken to the neuro unit, so it could be anything really. Hope it's not any form of severe trauma. Brain injury - long rehab and possible change in personality, etc, etc. Not great. Everything crossed for him and his family. Sound bloke

Apparently he was in some sort of jet propelled car, parachute deployed, pulled it sideways, flipped and rolled...lots.<br>

Fingers crossed that he recovers fully.<br>

lastest news this morning on the hampster is that he is stable condition and regained conciousness (is that spelt right?)<br>

They've pictures of the car up on the BBC website, looks as if it stayed in more or less one piece and the roll cage is still in place, which I guess can only be good news.<br>
