More help needed please!!!

My 1850HL passed its MOT yesterday after 6 months of being sat in someones back garden, however two problems continue to bug me:<br>

1.) The temp gauge doesnt work, where is the sender unit?? There is power at the back of the gauge, but im not sure how its supposed to work!?!? does the resistance of the sender vary with temperature? Is it more likely to be the sender at fault??<br>

2.) The clutch keeps sticking, which has resulted in a couple of near misses at traffic lights etc!!! Could this be because the car has been stood for so long, and it will eventually free itself off? or should I bleed the slave cylinder?? Unless there is any way of adjusting the clutch??<br>
