Books on restoration

Apart from the obvious manuals does anyone know of any books which could be a useful background read when approaching a restoration project.

try frost restoration, put 'frost' into google, they do pretty much everythin you'll need <br>

For what its worth, the best restoration tool/book i have purchased since buying my sprint in boxes is a 1974 sprint parts catalogue. Every inch and part of the car in exploded diagrams. If you can get one for for what ever model you plump for i feel they are worth their weight in gold.

How to weld. Or, even better, invest in some evening classes. Then buy the best MIG welder you can afford and get stitching!<br>

Get one, cut it up, then get another and crash it twice, repair it both times, buy lots of engines, strip one down, do an engine conversion with an unknown cond' engine, spend lots of time trying to repair that engine, balls it up and try some more.<br>

...or take all the easy bits off, find a willing bodyshop guy/mechanic, approach with a pile of cash, and let them do it 4 u!!<br>
