Its just down the road from me! I used to go gliding in Bidford; never spotted it from the air though...<br>

Go for it Alun, better a 'friendly' breaks it than one of the serial breakers. Faster they go out of business the better.<br>

...went over to Bidford today for a pre-arranged recce to see what would be required for the extraction from the hedge. Phoned before I left; answerphone, so left message saying I'd be there about 4pm. Arrived, difficult to find as no numbers on the houses drove up and down a bit and found it after having called again from the car but still answerphone. Had a look, decided it needed 4 wheels and a steering wheel to get it anywhere near mobile and then the owner showed up:<br>

"you have no right to be here!"<br>
<br>
tried to explain, response:<br>
<br>
"I know why you are here, saw you driving up and down, thought it would be you. Gives you no right to be here though, wandering around"<br>
<br>
Strangely the guy had just returned to the house by car so, how could he'd seen us driving up and down? and if he was in why didn't he answer his phone? and why was he surprised to see us having arranged with him in the week I'd be over saturday late afternoon?<br>

Dickwad!<br>

His rudeness caused us to turn on our heels and leave...at which point he asked if we were going to leave the money (as previously arranged) and when would I be picking it up??!!<br>

Needless to say he'll be keeping his hedge ornament!<br>
