Anyone want an 1850

A local member has been in touch to see if i know anyone who might want an 1850. It is a late car - T I think, only been doing 3k a year, man o/d, and brooklands green - i think.

It has been welded here and there, and is rusting (bubbling) a bit at the rear wing to rear panel seam - under the chrome trim.

Looks like a pretty sound car, with MOT until August or so. Exhaust needs the bracket fitting under the gearbox as it knocks over bumps, but otherwise good.

I hope this isnt an advert..... I'm just trying to see if there is anyone looking for such a car on the wider sceen, as the owner has had no luck locally.

I would buy it myself, but prefer to wait for tax free ones!! and recently aquired a fantastic condition 1850 auto from our previous local rep, so really really dont have any more space now.

The car is in the Bristol area

He has been asking £500, but had no luck.. not even 1 call, but that was only in the local free ads. (where most of my cars come from!) I am tempted myself, but have way too many, If it were tax free it would be here already though!!!

Somewhere between 300 and 400, would probably do, dont think he'd go any less, and I think its worth that!

If you want to get in touch with him then I'll email you his email address. Dont think he'd want to swap though.. he's trying to clear out!
