OK, its not Jod, I'm at his house so it looks like I'm him.

Looked at the 1850 tonight...after dusk and in the rain, so read into that what you will.

Bodywork:
Basically sound.
Original cills, driver's side needs a plate in the wheel arch (also behind wing but you might get away with this...
Ghassis legs look sound
Boot floor looks sound, evidence of previous work
Doors sound
'Screen pillar driver's side needs attention in usual place
Floor pans sound but driver's footwell has been used as a jacking point
Inner front panel needs attention as the front mud sheilds are missing
Driver's front wing has scab to the top and a ding that has been partly filled and painted
Rear driver's arch has been replaced

Engine: Started well, ran smoothly and urgently. Didn't get it up to temp because of low fuel

Interior: very clean, even top of rear beige seat.
D post lining split on one side

Tyres: needs at least two

Trim: Sundym glass all round, door trims missing
Locking fuel csp

Exhaust: blowing a little but pipes look fairly recent.

Seller seems genuine, car basically shouldn't need much for the MOT...and his wife want's rid

Just had a call from the seller; high bidder has messed him around; sent him an e-mail after bidding to say " she didn't actually want the car"??!??

Anyway upshot of it is he'll take £150 for it to get shot. Mail me and I'll pass on his number to you...

Worth it in my humble, but I have too many...

Why didn't they use the 'second chance' option?
