On the 'bay

#1 Post by alun n » Mon Jul 24, 2006 5:24 pm

<a href="http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1978-TRIUMPH-DOLO ... is local to me I think as I've seen it around a couple of times recently (going fast in the opposite direction; seemed tidy). I could look at it if anyone is genuinely interested...

Thats far too tempting. Fortunately for me theres 3000 miles of water to overcome or I'd be getting a nice little fleet together!
The trouble is Alun, I'd love you to look over a car for me, but as soon as one is near you its very many miles from me!

Isn't this the one that was on a few weeks ago somewhere near Mansfield?? It looks very similar especially the rust on the leading edge of the bonnet.
Not from Mansfield

#13 Post by Triumph1300 » Thu Jul 27, 2006 9:22 pm

I don't think it's the one listed up near Mansfield, I had a look at it, and if this it, it's had a towbar removed, and Sprint alloys fitted.
