Rover 2000tc

No way did that manifold ever mate with a Sprint head!

So, he took off a pair of '8s and replaced them with 40's!!<img src=

I thought the Rover manifiold was a straight one and this one turns downwards like a Sprint...
Looks like the thermostat housing has been hacked off....
which is aslo true of some weberfolds...
Gotta be a slant engine that leans right. Saab? Would explain the confusion.
Are they HS8?
If it were a Saab engine I reckon it'd look similar enough to an 1850 manifold for someone to say it was one of those. Vauxhall had a slant engine, but I guess it's going to be some kind of special tuning application, as HS8s on a 4 pot do seem like overkill for production road use.

I replied they must have been in the boot cos no way would that air filter fit a sprint...
Can't be a six potter; only twin siamesed ports = four pots. No bolt holes to fix it to your head with either....
