...to me it appears to be an original panel from which the top valance and a proportion of the lower has been cut away! (Copies rarely have the holes for the air dam fixings)<br>

As for the two part panel I understood it to be a cost saving; top and bottom could be formed individually from a single press whereas the complete panel required more than the cumulaive two visits to the press...
