Is easier than turning right.

Got the steering aligned on PRO at the weekend. It took 2 1/2 hours, and it still wanted to go left violently. Also despite new springs and wheels, the front left is lower than the front right. Garage suggested steering rack, I'm thinking something might be bent. Any Ideas?

Subframe mounts? The rears especially tend to rot out in the chassis rail, moreso on the driver's side.....

I'll hvae my man investigate tomorrow when he replaces the jets and needles. Shamefully, I'm also going to ask a mechanic to tighten my fanbelt...<img src=

Sound's like something ain't right somewhere.
Bent wishbone/Lower top arm?.
Check wheel to wing gap is the same both side's,
Grab a Tape measure and measure Wheel centre to wheel centre,
Steering rack will not affect ride height.
Also, the front left feels "floppy" in comparision with the right.

Check the radius arm bushes. If these are worn/damaged/missing then the car will not track correctly, and pull hard in one direction under braking.

If the shock absorber lower bushes are collapsed or worn the car will definitely sit low on that side.

Mark could be right. My brown Sprint suffered with a severe pull to the left a few years back. It was worse when the car rode an uneven surface. It took ages to sort...eventually found that the nut on the front drag strut was loose and was only there because the spring clip has stopped it falling off.
