Elbow Grease

Use plenty of elbow grease! Don't use an acidic wheel cleaner but there are some non-acidic ones out there. Try your local Vauxhall dealer of all places. Then when they're lovely and clean and dry use Autoglym Alloy Wheel Seal. I use it on my Sprint, Ford Focus and MG and it works a treat. What dust and muck does build up is very easily removed with a sponge!

2500/Stag Alloy's
Certainly not a easy thing to do,
Hub change's front and rear and you'll nead the 2500/Stag front brake's as well then there's the machining as well to get it all to fit.
Best bet go for a set of 14" Alloy's with Sprint PCD.
If you really need 14's.

Is the black paint on the spokes any particular type of paint ?

Is it best to get it all off first ?
Can Triumph 2500S alloys be fitted to Dolomites with low profile tyres? Not sure if the 2.5 wheels are 4 or 5 stud, or if the studs would be wrongly spaced. Just thought they might "sit well" on a dolly. Anyone tried?

Richard - Use Nitromors & get rid of all the paint then use Black Hammerite Smooth paint.
