Hi guys, I'm just looking for some info on a pair of solex carbs with K&N filters attached on a manifold, they were in the boot of my Sprint(ULG 62R) when I bought it last year, were they any good? why were they fitted? and how do I post a pic of the car? cheers

You need to have pictures uploaded to the internet to post them here. The best way is to set up a login at http://www.triumphowners.com (it's free) and put your pictures on there. Then all you do is click the image button, which is just to the left of where you type messages, and type or paste in the address of the image.

have in my experience been utter shite. I cant think of a single installation where the car wouldnt have been better off with them in the bin...
Speak to Andrew Turner, he'll tell you if thay have any potential and will be able to help you with bits. He recently overhauled a Solex off a 1948 Roadster without too much hassle.
