Heater pipes

After thinking i had cut most of the rot out of the car i now find the heater pipes have disintigrated inside the rubber pipe ends. <br>
Anyone have a solid spare they are willing to sell. <br>

Would be handy if you had one Jonners as you are local.<br>

Did think of the copper route as already replaced a couple of joint in copper.<br>
13mm is too big but i think you can get other sizes also.<br>

Back issue of DM, see my diagram and specs of how to make your own from Domestic 13mm Copper. XAA has been spoeting a set for a couple of years now, jobs a good un. I gave them a quick lick of Matt Black and you wouldn't notice the difference unless you were fully zipped up. Easy to do and even easier now the dimensions are in the mag DM 104 Page 17, tells you what lengths to cut the pipe, what connectors to use, how to convert the inlet manifold and addapt a heater hose to make a new pipe to manifold connection <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START ;) --><img src=

Must be original no matter what but stranded on the hard shoulder against non original and reliable , know which one i prefer. <br>

Most used pipes are pretty corroded and scalled up internally even if they look Ok externally. There is a week point where the pipes are bend through 90 degrees. I'll see if I can get a piccy of mine 'in situ'.

Found the diagram thanks Malc. I noted you found varying raised levels at one end. Mine seems to be flat all along but someone has also cut one pipe down which was probably corroded. I will make mine the same but considering it does not attach to a bracket i don't think the measurements have to be too exact as i can move it with different rubber pipe lengths to fit.<br>

Mike you are correct in saying there is quite some variation in 'height' on the pipe to waterpmup cover part. The pipes get twisted and distorted with manifold off opertions. The pipes alos corrode badly where they go into heater hoses. I've taken a couple of picks of my installation on XAA <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :D --><img src=
