How rare is this supposed to be?

I know Alun's looking at this - is it a candidate for his outstanding replication services??

Alun or Malc will be able to give you a definite price, but I think they're in the region of £60.

Spot on Andy, £60 each and that's including delivery.

Thicker steel than original and with a thicker wall tube too. 'Oldmatey' obviously hasn't seen 'our' repro.s when he wrote his description!

Had half an eye on it for the club as a pattern. Only half an eye cos thanks to Alun's stirling work we have repro legs in the club range so we are passed the pattern stage. Other than that, It is just a matter of resisting the temptation, std e-bay challenge <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ns/eek.gif ALT=":eek">

I bid yesturday for the aforementioned chassis leg - I even went up to £70, from £32 by previous bidder. Now near the end of the auction it's over £90. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ns/eek.gif ALT=":eek"> Even Rimmers only charge £88.71. Is this "original" gold plated perhaps? I will be getting in touch with Alun methinks.

£98.73 for a bit of metal which will be welded under the car and then covered in an underseal of some decription. Nobody's going to see it so why does it have to be an original part. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ns/eek.gif ALT=":eek"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ns/eek.gif ALT=":eek"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ns/eek.gif ALT=":eek"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ns/eek.gif ALT=":eek"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ns/eek.gif ALT=":eek">
One can only assume that it wasn't a club member who bought it...Being a club member really does save you money.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D">
