Anyone know where to obtain a vinyl roof these days? I have had a call from someone who wants to fit one to an 1850.

I would check with any local coachtrimmers. In the past, I've used a very good coachtrimmer here in Glasgow who always managed to source the right material and once fitted(by him) you'd never know.

Coachtrimming supplies for the material £9 per linear metre, 56 inches wide; tel 0121 694 5664
Aldridge Trimming in Wolverhampton will fit it and can sew in seams if required

I'd did it with contact adhesive in a spray can. It worked fine for me.
Ease vinyl from panel using gentle heat from hair drier. Clean off old adhesive from panel with a little petrol on a rag. As per above, evostick is fine. Apply with a brush if you only have the standard tin. Clean brush after in petrol.
