For anyone in the same boat as me - restoring a Sprint and needing to replace the vinyl roof - I have finally found a supplier who has something almost identical to the original material. So, if you're interested – Martrim Coach Trimming Supplies in Middlewich, Cheshire (Tel: 012707671) - EV Grain.
Like a few people on this forum, slowly getting the car back together. Back from the paint shop reslendent in silver. Subframe and front suspension all painted and back together with red bushes, motor rebuilt, balanced, lightened flywheel, fast road cam, etc ... and lots of bits in the garage waiting to go back in/on the bare shell. I'll post a few pics if someone can explain to me how you attach pics to a post.
They're charging me around £72 for 2.5m x width of about 1.5m. That included airmail to here (W.Australia).

Rang them yesterday and ordered 2 meters 54’’ wide, cost £12.50 per meter plus £10 delivery, arrived today and is as close to the original grain that I have seen.

Now comes the hard part removing the old vinyl and adhesive, I won’t be fitting the new vinyl myself, I managed to persuade an old guy that retired some years ago to stitch and fit the new vinyl for me
