Flywheel/clutch balance

Greetings from NZ<br>
With my 185o box in bits I await a recon kit from over your way.<br>
While I wait it might be opportune to do a bit of tweaking ie lighten and balance the flywheel and balance the clutch.<br>
They tell me that 'English clutches' were always 'notoriously' out of balance.<br>
Would this be a good move as its not expensive to do and would appreciate any comments.<br>
