Clutch or Hydrolic

Have my own theory here, just looking for some back up.<br>

Clutch pedal goes solid & won't engage gears? Never been completely happy with clutch since fitting.<br>
<br>
Real pleasant, summers night drive, bump starting in rush hour every time you get stopped.<br>
<br>
Allowing for a few teething problems as only got 100 or so miles since rebuild.<br>

Sounds more mechanical than Hydraulic unless master or slave has seized completely which is unusual. <br>

Hydraulic Failures usually result in pedal to the floor.

it goes solid if it's at full strech and hits the circlip at the end

Last time I had a solid clutch pedal it was due to the actuating arm having split and, as George says, the slave cylinder pushrod was up against the bell housing and going nowhere. Three miles to home with a crash gearbox then 'box out and new cross-shaft thankyou very much ! Ooh they make you pay sometimes ...
