Faffing about with 'used 2nd hand units'most of them have gone tits up by now. The club electronic one will give the required 10 volts consoistently, all electonic in an original case, real nice job <img src=

I have to agree with the Electronic route - I worried myself grey ( no that was marriage / kids / mortage that did that) about temperature - turned out to be a duff VS. I fitted an electronic unit and no worries. Wonder can you get a VS for other things?

Bank balance stabiliser would be a good start! Partner's mood stabiliser anyone? Bet I could sell a few of those.
Get one!
I spent months trying to sort out over-heating. This included many times letting the engine cool down in lay-bys and also replacing my 1850 rad with sprint item. When I changed the voltage regulator I deiscovered it was not overheating at all. Put your mind at rest!
