After owning a Dolomite 1300 and 1850 in the past have now finally got what I always wanted, a Sprint. <br>
<br>
Just needs a few things doing before it's ready for the mot. One of which is a new exhaust. I've been looking at Rimmers <br>
and Quiller Triumph, not sure to go for the Sports exhaust or the standard SS system. Any advice would be much appreciated, also am I looking at the right compaines for best prices and service. <br>

I personally prefere the sports in stainless, better sound, the original souds more tin can like.<br>
Plus the benefit of a few extra horses too with the sports. I bought mine of Rimmers who use or did use Falcon exhausts 8 or 9 years ago, and still going very strong, on the road every day. quick polish up with Brasso looks like new again.<br>
The Sports exhaust is cheap in comparison to most other cars these days

I have a stainless standard on KDU and a Falcon twinpipe on CAB.<br>

KDU is menacingly throaty compared to the original, CAB is boistrous and outright aggressive. I'd happily do several hundred mile tripd in KDU; these days I'd think hard about aural comfort before using CAB (and the fact she is well and truly laid up!)

I have the sports exhaust on 'project orange', this came from Rimmers originally, courtesy of the previous owner. I'm not sure how old the exhaust system is, probably have the receipt soemwhere, but the car is in the process of being renovated. <br>

Im getting one made, so this stainless one will be available for the equivalent of a good night out (of course, that depends on what you do on a 'good night out'!!).<br>

Its been that long since i've seen my car i've forgotten what it looks like, but I do remember the exhaust was in pretty good nick, and probably couldnt have been that old when I bought the car, about 18 mths ago.<br>

It does sound nice, I have to say, and will shortly be up for grabs if you want it...<br>

I dont think the sports system is actually all that loud and over-bearing, but its each to their own. Theres plenty of these systems around on cars, worth trying to find someone near you who has one for a listen i'd suggest.<br>

I have a video of an 1850 with the Rimmers pipe if you wnat to hear it, not the best quality (abnormal amounts of bass!) but still sounds good<br>

Im in either Hinckley or Derby. the exhaust is still attached to the car in birmingham.<br>
