Just had a quick play tonight with the 1300 tc which hasn't been on the road for 20 years. Fired up ok the other week, got the clutch hydraulics plummed in, albeit with a 1500 slave cylinder. Clutch jammed, but now free, but now the frywheel has dedided its gonna rub on the back of the block. I recon the thrust washers had dropped out! May get away with just refitting if its just happened. Any other opinions. Havent stripped the slave out yet to get the pressure off the flywheel so can't check the end float

If you have lost your thrust washers you should be able to feel movement at the pulley end

Yep I know thats the normal check. I need to release the presure as the slave cylinder isn't returning far enough back because its a 1500 one. However the fact that the frywheel is so far forward, and wasn't points to thrust washers are either not there or worn away
Can't think of anything else? Any suggestions?
