Now that spring is here, it is time to service and do an oil change on my Sprint. Can you tell me which oil you recommend and use in your road-going standard engine Sprint?

For the last couple of years, I have been having trouble starting my sprint with the choke ( HS 6 SU's ) I pull the choke out fully and try to start the engine after a few cranks it will fire but will not run on the choke and I have to push the choke in, to keep it going I have to blip the throttle ...

Dolomite Sprint Clock
While going through my spares today I found a Kienzle clock in working and in good order from a Dolomite Sprint, can anybody tell me if this would be worth anything, and if so how do you think I could sell it for?

A catch up about the fan.had a look today and removed the radiator and electric fan and reinstalled the viscous fan,put it all back together and took car for a drive and the gauge did not go above half way even at idle at the traffic lights and parked up on idle,seems my car does not like the ...

I had someting like this earlier in the year where the lights not working right.
With the front ones there is a connector block down by the front valance where water had got in and corroded the wires , I clean them up and all was good.
With the rear lights they earth through the lamp holder and ...

Thank you for all your answers, yes it is a sucker fan, and yes it is the right thermostat, what I will have to do is put the old one on and give that a try.
Will it do any harm running like this, as Steve says with a electric fan the temp will go up and down?

really nice looking car, the stance looks really good, I have just fitted Gaz height adjustable shocks on my car is the any chance you can tell me at what height you have yours set at, from wheelarch to wheel centre front and rear.

I am looking at getting a pair of Chris Witors Superflex engine mounts for my sprint as I have noticed when i move the engine the rubber is starting to come away from the metal.

When tighting the head down on a sprint engine after a few 1000 miles, do you slacken the bolt off and then retighten one at a time or just retorque them, also what torque should they be tigthen to and in what order.
