Driving my sprint today I noticed the overdrive works on all 4 gears , just wondered if any one has come across this before.
I can only think someone has played with it before I owned it,drives absolutely fine ,it didn't work when I was restoring the car but a new switch and a rewire sorted that ...

Thanks for your posts,took me longer than I expected but pleased with the outcome.
I bought it 18 months ago, eBay & unseen but was tempted by the gold seal engine .
Glad to say it was a good gamble, done a few miles this weekend & can't fault it.
